idoweddingcards.com was launched in 2007 to respond to demand for beautiful, boutique-like wedding invitations. Free-lance graphic designer and award-winning industrial designer (she also owns and designs lighting fixtures for Brave Design Inc.), Andrea White has been designing for over ten years - including a stint at the fashion icon Prada, in Milan.

She decided that designing couture wedding cards was her calling as it allows her to combine her love of sumptuous papers, elegant graphics and origami. And besides, brides are fun to work with!

Her own wedding invitation was a paper ring box with a hand-made ring and a faux newspaper clipping describing how her fiancé had proposed. “I wanted the guests to feel the excitement of receiving an engagement ring. A lot of work but very memorable!”

With a background in Graphic Design, Furniture Design and Art History, Andrea has a well-rounded design approach and understands the bride and groom’s quest for something unique. After all, she was a bride herself not so long ago!
